Our Great Nation

The Mindspring "Our Great Nation" strategically combines English Language Arts 5 and Social Studies 5 to take advantage of the reading and writing standards included in both courses.  Mindspring provides the full curriculum is in an organized, paced and easy to follow format. By combining ELA and SS activities, students have more time for exploring in depth our amazing historical topics through parent-guided project-based assessments.

SpringMath 5

Math 5 teaches the prerequisite topics and skills needed for Middle School Mathematics curricula: Math 6, Math 7, and Math 8 (Pre-Algebra). The full curriculum is provided by Mindspring in an organized, paced and easy to follow format. The Math Notebook is augmented with Khan Academy and Prodigy Math Game activities. 

Science Foundations

The Mindspring Science Foundations course teaches the prerequisite topics and skills needed for Middle School Science curricula: Life Science, Physical Science, and Earth and Space Science.  Mindspring provides the full curriculum in an organized, paced and easy to follow format.  Parents guide students in the completion of the project-based assessments.
